Water jet cutting is a highly accurate form of cutting with tolerances as tight as ± 0.005", depending on customers' materials and needs. It is a low cost alternative tool which is capable of slicing into materials as hard as titanium or as soft as foam using a small stream of water under high pressure and high velocity, or a mixture of water and an abrasive. Waterjet cutting is an excellent alternative to die cutting, 2D CNC machining, plasma arc cutting, and laser cutting.
